Happy New Year.

The last few months of 2011 saw Jason wrapping production on several songs for Marc Scibilia on Hickory Records/Sony ATV (to be released this Spring).  He also recorded a new Jerry Douglas album, engineered the latest Kristin Chenoweth album, mixed the critically acclaimed pop album, ‘Dudes’ from David Mead, and began tracking songs with Wax Recording artist Jesse Labelle and Austin’s Saints of Valory.  In January, Jason is beginning production of an album for Mindy Smith.

They’ll be heading back in early October to tape the world famous Later with Jools Holland.

Mat Kearney’s new album Young Love (Aware/Universal Republic) was released today.  Jason co-produced all 10 tracks with Robert Marvin.  The album is currently #1 at iTunes.

Jason also engineered, mixed, played and wrote on the album.  The first single, “Hey Mama,” (written by Mat and Jason) is currently climbing the Hot AC and AAA charts.
